As a compliment to our Daycare and Boarding services, The Houndry also offers Dog Walking for your pet. Our dog walkers receive the same professional instruction as our dog handlers, including Pet First Aid & CPR training through the American Red Cross and canine behavioral training under the direction of Animal Behaviorist, Mick McAuliffe. All Houndry staff and associates must undergo a thorough background screening and reference checks as conditions of their employment.

Terms

All clients must submit a completed application along with proof of vaccination for their dog. We will schedule an in-home visit to conduct a walk-through and pick up a set of your keys.

Reservations will not be guaranteed until all of the above terms are met.

Scheduling & Cancellations

All walks must be scheduled a minimum of 24 hours in advance. We cannot guarantee last-minute requests. Cancellations must be made by 5:00 pm the preceding day to avoid being charged a cancellation fee.

Billing

The Houndry invoices dog-walking clients at the conclusion of each week. A credit card must be placed on file to which charges can be applied. If you do not wish to place a card on file, services must be paid in advance. The Houndry reserves the right to suspend service in the event of non-payment.
